Node.js Engineer

Game development company in the heart of Belarus is looking for a Node.js Engineer to work on projects we’re creating in collaboration with our featured partners. We are a team of 30+ members with 10+ Unity developers on board. This position is a critical hire for our
core technology group. You will be working with our team of talented engineers and will be in charge of the backend systems and server solutions to resolve any requests related to the overall performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering. This position will allow you to innovate and improve our engineering systems and practices. This position may require the management of other engineers and ownership of client development processes and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Reacting to program/system issues (bugs/support tickets reported) and correcting (fixing) when necessary in NodeJS projects;
• Creating new APIs (dev, stage, prod, typescript, swagger);
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code;
• New features development for NodeJS projects;
• Working as a team member — discussing new requirements with a team lead, QA, and managers.

Requirements:

• Experience in NodeJS programming: 2.5 + years;
• Solid knowledge of Typescript;
• Git, Bitbucket;
• English: Intermediate (B2) +.

Nice-to-haves:

• Firebase Cloud Functions;
• Experience working with Firestore.
