A game development company is looking for a talented Product Manager to work on games we’re creating in collaboration with our featured partners.

Requirements:

  • Take ownership of defining the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities;
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders to strategize business value, define the marketplace and craft the vision of a product;
  • Create and maintain a product backlog according to business value and/or ROI;
  • Partner with Code, Art, and QA teams to ensure schedules and goals meet project and business needs;
  • Dig deep into analytics to make well-informed data-driven decisions on the way to success;
  • Keep up with agile best practices to boost development velocity and maintain the team’s health;
  • Identify new areas for growth through quantitative search and UX studies;
  • Analyze market trends and maintain an awareness of competitor activity;
  • Provide support to marketing teams by communicating product features and functionality.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute planning and prioritization of product feature backlog and development for the product;
  • Create detailed feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by the development team;
  • Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of release and sprint goals;
  • Lead product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities;
  • Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge, and providing answers promptly.

Requirements:

  • 2.5+ years experience in game development as a Product Owner or Project Manager;
  • B.S. degree, e.g. Bachelor of Marketing Management or equivalent background;
  • English language proficiency is not lower than B2 (Upper Intermediate);
  • In-depth knowledge of agile processes and principles;
  • Experience and/or good skill in prioritizing tasks;
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, reasonable flexibility;
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting Stakeholder needs.
