UX Engineer

Leading Manufactory Automation company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service is looking for an UX Engineer.

Location: Gomel – or close by, with the ability to attend offices 3 times a week

Role Summary 

We are looking for a skilled UX Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design skills, with a proven ability to translate complex business needs into intuitive and effective digital products. This role requires close collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders across multiple projects.

Primary Focus Areas 

• User-Centered Design — Apply UX methodologies to research, analyze, and design user-friendly interfaces.
• UI Development — Create and maintain design systems and UI components that are both functional and visually appealing.
• Stakeholder Management — Lead and manage the UX/UI efforts for multiple concurrent projects, each with different stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and end-users to understand business requirements and user needs.
• Lead design workshops and ideation sessions to define user flows and product functionality.
• Create and iterate on low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma.
• Develop and maintain a consistent design system to ensure brand and user experience consistency across all products.
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and UI components.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to inform design decisions and validate prototypes.
• Present design solutions and rationale to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• 3+ years of experience as a UX Engineer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role.
• Proven proficiency with Figma (prototyping, components, and design systems).
• Experience designing for complex B2B applications, enterprise software, or business-oriented platforms.
• Strong portfolio showcasing work that demonstrates expertise in both UI and UX design.
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to manage different stakeholder expectations.

English – B1-B2

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in designing for ERP, WMS, or financial systems.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better understand implementation constraints.
• Experience with user research methodologies and tools (e.g., surveys, interviews, A/B testing).
• Experience with CAD tools and designing graphical/drawing tools
• Background in an agile development environment.
